Meet Rob & Cyndie
The captivating neon pistol at Doc Hollidays Saloon left a lasting impression on Rob Rightmire, making it one of Glenwood’s iconic landmarks. Originally from Los Angeles, Rob fell for the region during an elk-hunting trip. The infamous pistol sign drew him into Docs, eventually leading to the purchase of Springs bar. The historic establishment was acquired from Marty Yoder’s daughters. Rob, who values the neon sign as a key feature, plans to maintain its glow while respecting Marty’s legacy and the Western theme. Yoder’s transformation of the bar into a historical attraction is commemorated by the old wooden bar from Leadville in the 1920s. The neon sign, a downtown landmark, has welcomed visitors over the Grand Avenue Bridge for years.
